The Female Planet
"The Female Planet," a VR series on YouTube from Daydream and Surround Vision, uses VR technology to make it easy to shadow and learn from global female leaders. The series delves into the personal and professional experiences of five extraordinary women with careers spanning technology, science, sports, and the arts. Each episode features a different leader, such as Tiera Fletcher, a Boeing aerospace engineer designing a rocket for the NASA mission to Mars or Golden Globe-winning actor Gina Rodriguez, who focuses her career on roles that empower women.

About the Partners
Daydream and London-based production company Surround Vision partnered on "The Female Planet" to share the stories of a new group of female role models who will inspire and empower young women. VR allows viewers to see inside the leaders' workplaces, hear firsthand why they chose the paths they’re on now, and get to know what pushed them to keep moving forward.

By immersing the viewer into the lives of successful women, we wanted to open new worlds to young women everywhere. The idea is that by widening the pool of female role models visible to them, it would normalise femaleleadership in all walks of life.
